Business Need / Purpose of Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic sales leader, who will be based in the United States Gulf Coast or Midwest region, who will plan, direct and manage our commercial valve products to enable our organization to successfully achieve objectives. This individual will play a vital role by establishing goals, monitoring forecasts, recommending price strategy and developing marketing materials. This highly motivated key member of our sales team demonstrates the ability to grow the business by focusing on the customer and by networking and partnering with other strategic contacts in the industry.


Objectives & Measurement - Key Responsibilities

Including but not limited to:

  • Meets with customers, negotiates contracts and closes sales
  • Develops sales forecast and performance goals and recommends product positioning
  • Attends trade meetings, promotes products and monitors the competition to increase market share
  • Keeps V.P. Sales/Marketing abreast of sales’ progress and recommends improvements for products
  • Manages operating budget and ensures that sales and marketing results meet expected targets
  • Manages relationship with sales channel and industry associates, keeping them abreast of new information and changes to strategy
  • Creates and delivers sales presentations

Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:  

BSME or comparable degree with 5 years’ experience selling engineered products for the manufacturing industry preferred


Language Skills:

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and computer skills.


Reasoning Ability:

Demonstrated track record in negotiating and closing sales


Work Environment:

Experience with a manufacturing facility



Must be able to travel 50% of the time.
