The purpose of this role is to perform the necessary advanced tests in the R&D facility. The testing can be anything from new pumps to checking the wear in a flow component.
Including but not limited to:
Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with at least 18 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Mathematical Skills Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Take measurements using precise measuring devices such as micrometers, ring and bore gauges.
Other Skills Forklift certified, certified welder preferred
Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Machine shop environment. Must be able to wear steel toed safety shoes and safety glasses, and hearing protection. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The use of personal protective equipment is required, including steel toed shoes and safety glasses.
