Weir is seeking interns for Summer 2018. Interns graduating in 2018 will be eligible to apply to the Weir Graduate Rotational Program upon completion of the internship. Must be open to relocate to one of the three locations.

Interns will get hands on experience working on special projects for their assigned department. Students must be in at least a Junior year standing. We will accept resumes of recent graduates as well.

Education and/or Experience
Enrolled with at least a Junior status in a bachelor’s degree program, or recent graduate with a discipline in IT or related field.
Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
Computer Skills Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and demonstrated working applications knowledge of website tools and systems
Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
