The Training Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating schedules and programs for interns and graduates throughout the Weir development program while working with recruitment, department managers and HR.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university; 2 to 3 years hands on experience in learning and development, project management or similar capacity.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, executives, employees and the general public.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point. Computer proficiency in desktop software, and web-based employment application systems.
