Perform duties required to create pump and valve designs and design modifications, Item and Bill of Material creation, and related engineering drawings in a Design for Six Sigma environment.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering required with minimum 5 to 7 years’ work experience. Experience with designing rotating equipment and/or valves preferred. API Pump experience highly desired. MSS Valve Standard experience highly desired. Experience conducting Finite Element Analysis and/or Computational Fluid Dynamics a plus.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Proficiency with geometric analysis.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet. Extensive experience in 3-D modeling and 2-D drafting required, Unigraphics NX preferred. Experience with use of TeamCenter PLM software and Ansys FEA/CFD a plus.

Moderate, Will require PPE in manufacturing environment.
