    Business Need / Purpose of Role

    The primary responsibility will be to directly manage the implementations in the North America Region. Ensures that the localization process occurs with the right balance between maintaining the integrity of the global template and ensuring that business critical local processes are supported. This position will work closely with the Company Management Teams and the Regional Change Manager to ensure that site and user readiness is achieved. The Regional Implementation Manager will manage the project to scope, time, quality, and work within approved Budget. The Regional Implementation manager will align with COA (Center of Authority) and Divisional/Regional PMO’s (Program Management).

    Objectives & Measurement - Key Responsibilities

    • Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities:

      Including but not limited to:

      • Coordinate and report to North American Program Management team on progress to milestones, and proactively manage project timelines
      • Regular communication with Divisional Program Management team on North American status and information on global program impacts to North American projects.
      • Proactive management to timeline and milestones with North American Implementation Team– Regional Change Manager, IT Director, SAP Technical Lead.
      • Management of program resources to adhere to the budget.
      • Coordinate with SAP Technical Lead and Business Process Owners on submissions to the COA for any changes needed to the Global Template (no configuration changes will be made directly by this team)
      • Work with Managing Directors, Company Managers, and Change Manager to ensure the Site Business Plans are followed. Provide support as needed.
      • Represent the Regional Project on Company and Regional Steering Committees.
      • Ensure that the localization process occurs with the right balance between maintaining the integrity of the global template and ensuring that business critical local processes are supported.
      • Develop and maintain a risk register for the implementation project with immediate reporting of critical items to the Region and PMO. Develop and manage mitigation measures.
      • Maintain a detailed implementation project plan for the Region and provide weekly updates for incorporation into the PMO master plan.
      • Ensure business and local IT support the data migration and clean-up processes and that there is active user involvement in the process to ensure that the business rules in conversion are correct.
      • Use agile project techniques to provide frequent reviews with users through the implementation life-cycle to ensure alignment between the delivered solution and the business.
      • Promote a customer service attitude in the project.
      • Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team oriented, customer focused attitude within and between departments.

      ·         Comply with all Information Technology Department and Company policies, procedures, and programs.

      ·         Maintain technical competency and remain current in technology and changes in industry.

      ·         Ensure compliance with all safety and work rules and regulations.   Maintain departmental housekeeping standards. 

      • Participate on cross-functional teams to ensure the continuous, ongoing improvement of processes, methods, productivity and quality, while reducing costs.

    Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications

    Education and/or Experience:

    Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Project Management or a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years’ large project management experience (preferably ERP SAP), and 2 plus years of program management experience. Large project management experience to include 1-year plus projects, multiple sites, and with a global focus.


    Language Skills:

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.



    Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.


    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.


    Computer Skills:

    Project Management, Spreadsheet, Word Processing, Powerpoint, Presentation software


    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

    PMP certification mandatory.


    Physical Demands:

    The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.


    Work Environment:

    Work is performed in inside environmental conditions. Moderate noise.



    Plan on 50% travel after Madison implementation is complete.
