    Business Need / Purpose of Role

    The Lead Developer and Architect will work on the IT development team to lead and develop software and integrated solutions to meet business requirements. They will be responsible for the design, development, deployment, and support of custom Web and Desktop software. The candidate will be expected to work with and coordinate tasks/activities with  off-shore and on-shore team.

    Objectives & Measurement - Key Responsibilities

    Including but not limited to:

    • Work and coordinate with internal/external team to resolve software bugs and deliver new projects/enhancements
    • Major Contributor to the design, development, testing, deployment and support of custom Web and Desktop software
    • Major Contributor to Enterprise Architecture, Processes, Procedures, Coding Standards, and Protocols
    • Develop software solutions compliant with Enterprise Architecture, Processes, Procedures, Coding Standards, and Protocols
    • Responsible for timely completion of the development phase of projects
    • Responsible for contributing to technical design specifications and technical design reviews.
    • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
    • Supports critical production systems
    • Mentors/Coaches fellow developers through knowledge sharing, constructive feedback and peer code reviews
    • Superior problem solver with the desire and proven ability to create innovative solutions
    • Excellent presentation, communication, organization and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and remain flexible to changing requirements

    Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications


    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.  Requires 8+ years of programming experience using .Net/C# and a variety of other technologies.  Experience in the oil or fracturing industry is a major plus.



    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Multi lingual will be a benefit.



    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.


    Computer Skills:


    • Min 8+ years of programming experience using .Net/C#/Web Technologies
    • Recent Hands-on development experience
    • Source code management skills such as branching, merging code  utilizing tools such as TFS, Bitbucket, or Git
    • Expert knowledge of web development:  HTML5, CSS, Javascript, ASP.Net, AJAX, Bootstrap, JQuery, Knockout.js
    • Other development skills required:  MVC,MVP,WPF, JSON, XML,WCF, Entity-Framework, IoT
    • Experience with WebServices (REST, SOAP)
    • Thorough understanding of SDLC and Agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures.
    • Understanding of core AWS/Azure services, uses, and architecture best practices
    • Solid experience designing and developing .NET-based solutions using OOP.
    • Microsoft SQL/T-SQL experience writing complex queries and stored procedures
    • Experience with  Microsoft SSRS and Power BI
    • Experience migrating applications to Cloud


         Nice to have:

    • Familiarity with PLC and OPC. 
    • Experience with Syteline, Kronos, Sharepoint, Microsoft Dynamics, KEPServerEX, and Microsoft Merge Replication.


    Physical Requirements:

    The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.


    Work Environment:

    The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. In certain areas of the facility personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required, including safety glasses and steel-toed shoes, high visibility vest, and ear plugs.
