    Business Need / Purpose of Role

    The IT Project Manager should posses a strong background supporting business needs related to Mergers & Acquisitions. This role leads process change for the IT PMO under minimal supervision. 

    Objectives & Measurement - Key Responsibilities

    Including but not limited to:

     

    • Excellent understanding of all disciplines affecting M&A transactions (Infrastructure, Security, Network, ERP and Software Development Projects) and can lead a cross functional team to drive acquisition integration.
    • Establishes the M&A work plan and multi-disciplinary staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for assignment of project personnel.
    • Screens all programs and projects for risks, issues and opportunities for sustainable improvement, understands the end to end impact along with cross functional impact, and formulates and implements solutions.
    • Coordinates activities of IT projects to ensure goals and objectives of these projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
    • Solid project management skills, having managed and successfully delivered multiple, complex projects on-time and on-budget.
    • Manage execution of project effectively by tracking and reporting overall plan and deliverable on regular basis.
    • Established business and financial acumen.
    • Robust analytical and quantitative skills, as well as attention to detail.
    • Resilient in the face of competing demands and conflicts.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience dealing with high-level executives.
    • Work closely with stakeholders in areas of prioritizing, resourcing, assignment and communication of projects.
    • Ensure business change management impacts are documented and adoption plans created.
    • Support the evaluation and selection of vendors, service providers and technology solutions.
    • Experience agile project management and Jira tool would be beneficial.
    • Experience with Digital Rights management technology project would be beneficial.
    • Support and drive PMO team continuous improvement efforts.

     

    Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications

    Education/Experience:

    Bachelor degree preferred, with 6 or more years of experience in managing IT solutions and large IT programs. Experienced with agile implementation & water fall methodology

     

    Language:

    Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
