This position performs electrical systems installation and troubleshooting of electrical problems.
Education and/or Experience:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, sub-tract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to interpret schematic drawings, procedure changes, and work orders.
The incumbent should have knowledge of the following software:
Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office and web based CMMS system.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. In certain areas of the facility personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required, including safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and hearing protection.
