    Business Need / Purpose of Role

    Manages daily production of rental department, while overseeing workers engaged in assembly, test, breakdown, sand blast and paint operations to produce refurbished valves and frac equipment.

    Objectives & Measurement - Key Responsibilities

    Including but not limited to:


    • Maintains knowledge of Frac Trees and assorted size Frac Adapter
    • Ensures all standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed
    • Maintain clean and safe work area by ensuring that all safety policies and procedures are followed by all assigned employees
    • Ensures safety walks and safety briefings are completed daily
    • Coordinate with HSE to develop and maintain all safety initiatives
    • Maintain daily work schedule and communicate with shift leads any changes
    • Facilitate daily production meeting with team
    • Manages all subordinates in addition to providing guidance and ensuring that all appropriate action necessary is taken to ensure a smooth and continuous production flow
    • Monitor and manage staffing needs to ensure production goals are met
    • Oversee hiring of all personnel in coordination with the HR department
    • Train new and existing employees on department procedures, job specifications, and demonstrates use of equipment
    • Review and approve all payroll time submissions and time off requests
    • Assist department employees in resolving technical problems.
    • Confer with technical personnel and managers to report and resolve problems
    • Escalate unresolved situations to their manager when appropriate to establish a plan of action
    • Facilitate personnel corrective actions  and oversee performance improvement goals/objectives where applicable
    • Establish and deliver all personal business objectives (PBOs) to all assigned/managed personnel
    • Communicate with districts to coordinate all equipment requests
    • Oversee all equipment returns and repairs
    • Facilitate “Hot List” calls with districts
    • Oversee, plan and coordinate all continuous improvement initiatives
    • Report substandard equipment performance to manager for further
    • Act as a liaison with other departments as needed
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications


    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); with seven (7) years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.



    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.


    Mathematical Skills:

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.


    Certifications, Licenses, Registrations, Special Skills:

    Forklift certification or ability to obtain fork lift certification within in thirty (30) days.


    Physical Demands:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.


    Work Environment:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work outside for short periods of time and is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment can be significant, as expected in a heavy industry manufacturing facility. Personal protective equipment is required in certain areas of the facility.  While performing duties this job may be exposed to extreme hot or cold temperatures.
