    Business Need / Purpose of Role

    The Software Developer role is an ongoing internship to assist with special projects.

    Objectives & Measurement - Key Responsibilities

    Software Developer Intern:

    • Prefer some programming experience using .Net/C#
    • Microsoft SQL/T-SQL experience writing queries and stored procedures
    • Knowledge of  Microsoft SSRS
    • Familiarity with Source code management utilizing TFS
    • Some experience with web development:  HTML5, CSS, Javascript, ASP.Net, AJAX
    • Knowledge of  Agile/Scrum environment
    • Help in the designing and developing of .NET-based solutions using OOP.

    Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications

    Education and/or Experience 

    Enrolled with at least a Junior status in a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

                         
    Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

    Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.


    Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry


    Computer Skills Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and demonstrated working applications knowledge of website tools and systems


    Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
