    Business Need / Purpose of Role

    The candidate will be responsible for monitoring the installed pumps in the market, giving technical support inside the business, including training. This role proposes and leads improvements and solutions according to customer needs. The candidate will  work closely with with sales, Design Center of Excellence Top Management.

     

    The position is based in Chile and there will be a requirement to visit customers in different locations regionally around Latin America.

    Objectives & Measurement - Key Responsibilities

    Responsibilities and Experience:

    • Commissioning and maintenance on industrial pumps
    • Knowledge of the Mining Industry
    • Product and Specification knowledge of Slurry Pumps and their applications in the Mill Circuit Process
    • General Mechanical and Engineering expertise
    • There will be a need for driving for results
    • Working independently and taking the initiative
    • Leading by example and building trust and strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers

    Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications

    Education

    Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or other related field and a minimum of five (5) years of knowledge and experience in a similar role.

     

    Language:

    Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.. Proficiency of Spanish is desirable but not mandatory.
