    Business Need / Purpose of Role

    Responsible for managing Independent Drilling Distributors throughout the US in all major shale play. Multi-site distributors. Drilling Distributors focus on frac sites and service providers’ yards.

    Objectives & Measurement - Key Responsibilities

    Including but not limited to:

    • Maintain existing relationships
    • Grow our market share through existing distributors and add additional distributors as required
    • Travel and visit distributors and end user customers
    • Produce sales forecasts through engaging with local distribution-extrapolating data to produce these forecasts
    • Negotiate, calculate, and recommend pricing and maintain margins
    • Support product sales outlining features and benefits through technical aptitude
    • Manage accounts and/or distributors

    Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications

    Education and/or Experience:

    Minimum of 5-7 years experience in Distribution Sales.

     

    Language Skills:

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

     

    Mathematical:

    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

     

    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

     

    Computer Skills:

    Word processing, Spreadsheet, Email

     

    Physical Demands:

    The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

     

    Work Environment:

    Extensive travel is required, up to 75% in automobiles and airplanes.
